balanced healthy diet. Vital veggie power was formulated as a
topical powder, that can be added to foods that have been cooked,
added to toasted sandwiches, on top of pizzas, sprinkled over
Mexican food or added to savory muffins, or added to your favourite
veggie juice, there are lots of applications it can be added
Each teaspoon contains around 3 grams of powder which is
equivalent to roughly 21 grams of whole Carrot, Tomato, Pumpkin,
Mango, Spirulina, Barley Grass, Clorella, Alfalfa, and Psyllium.
Each ingredient in the Vital Veggie Power and all our range, have a
unique vitamin, mineral, protein and enzyme profile. The drying
process involved in producing this powdered formulation insures
that 60-85% of the nutrients are retained! We encourage parents and
adults to eat a full range of organically grown if possible

So why do we need super food powders?
Our soils today are over harvested and have little or no nutrients
left in the soil. Nutrients are vital to keep our immune system
healthy, and our immune system is what fights of disease, it is
The Drying Process
All our super foods used for our formulas are either freeze dried
or refractance dried. Freeze dried method is where the produce
which has been gently pulped without damaging the cell walls, then
placed in holding chambers. Negative 40 degrees air is then pumped
into the chamber and the vapour is vacuumed out - this extracts the
water content which leaves the dried produce. The nutrient content
varies from season to season but generally retains around 70% of
the nutrients. The refractance method is where the produce is
pulped again then laid onto large pads. Gently moving underneath
the pulped produce is water at around 80 degrees, which gently
evaporates the water out of the produce - leaving a dried product.
The nutrient levels retained are around 65% -80%. These 2 methods
of drying are the BEST WAY to retain a high nutrient content in the
